Holiday Food Drive at Lansdale Catholic High School

Once again in 2007, Lansdale Catholic High School students played an important role in assisting Keystone staff and other volunteers in helping well over 100 families in need celebrate Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas.

Led by Guidance Counselor Mary Lou Graham, students and faculty collected boxes of canned food throughout the school, sorted the care packages and delivered them to Keystone House. Families were referred by Keystone nurses and colleagues and received full holiday meals including a turkey along with soup, stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn, gravy, cornbread or biscuits, and a dessert.

In addition to these caring students, we also thank First Baptist Church of Huntingdon Valley, Bethlehem Baptist Church of Ambler, Flourtown ACME, the many hospice staff, and the numerous hospice and community volunteers who participated in our annual holiday “Adopt-a-Family” program!
