Experience
the satisfaction
of being a hospice volunteer
Volunteering
for hospice is a very rewarding experience. By serving people who are
making choices on how to live their remaining days of life, volunteers
learn more about themselves and what really matters.

to surviving family members.

“This
is the best-paying job I’ve ever had.
How do you value a kind word, a smile, a hug?
Those are worth far more than any paycheck!”

“In
taking that step to be a hospice volunteer,
I have experienced the reality of giving without asking for anything in
return, and in the end getting back much more than I had given. In addition,
I have experienced my own personal growth in terms of compassion, inner
strength and less fear of dying.”
