Joan Smith Reese, President of Keystone Home Health, spent many years heading large national home health companies, but she saw the need for a different kind of home health agency. Knowing the regional needs of the greater Philadelphia area, she set out to establish an agency that was directly responsive to needs of the community, especially the medically underserved and indigent.
