Private Duty Care
Private Duty Care helps those who may not have a skilled nursing
need, but will live better and more comfortably with private health
services in their own home.
Private Duty services may be indicated:
- When family members or caregivers are unavailable or need
rest
- When there is a change in medical condition or after a
hospitalization
- When assistance is needed with daily activities
Private Duty services may include:
- In-home visits by a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse,
home health aide or companion for personal care, wellness visits or
check-ups
- Homemaker services such as laundry, housekeeping, shopping,
errands
- Friendly phone calls or visits
- Medication or appointment-reminder calls or visits
- Social Worker for counseling, evaluation, or referral
