Pediatric Hospice Care

As the first not-for-profit organization in the Philadelphia area to offer end-of-life care to children and young adults, we have the experience to understand the roller coaster of emotions that families feel when caring for a terminally ill child.

Our pediatric hospice program has been developed not only to offer comfort and freedom from pain, but also to create a life-affirming environment for children. In addition to comfort care, our trained therapists use age-appropriate music, movement and art therapies to help children express their imagination, creativity and the feelings that are difficult to vocalize.

With great sensitivity and compassion, our caregivers work closely with parents and siblings to make the most of the time we have with terminally ill children.

The unique needs and nature of pediatric hospice care are generously supported by The George Fund
