Chaplain Services
Compassionate Support for Body and Spirit
The customs of faith, combined with competent,
compassionate nursing care, offer many families and patients peace
and serenity through all of life's chapters. Our chaplain services
are available as a spiritual resource for hope, compassion and
prayer, at home or in Keystone House.
For patients with particular faith affiliations, the chaplain
identifies the appropriate resources and can make arrangements for
clergy visitation. Religious holiday and holy day observances are
provided by or arranged by chaplains for patients in their own
homes or at Keystone House. Visiting clergy are also invited to
hold services, meditation groups and devotional gatherings that
provide meaning to residents and their families.
Working as part of the interdisciplinary team, chaplains are in
constant communication and collaboration with nursing, social work,
creative arts professionals, and volunteers to provide a continuum
of compassionate care to Keystone patients and their loved
ones.
