Hospice Vigil Volunteer Training

Vigil volunteers provide emotional, spiritual and physical support to patients and family members during the patient's active dying process. Vigil volunteers are on call to sit at the bedside of dying patients ensuring that no patient ever dies alone.

Vigil Volunteering is for already trained and experienced hospice volunteers who recognize the privilege of being present to encourage comfort, support and bringing a sense of peace, calm and love during a patient's last hours.

Training is held at Keystone House beginning at 11:30 am. For more information, contact Christine DeVore, Director of Volunteers, at 215-836-2440 or cdevore@keystonecare.com
