Grief can feel very isolating for so many reasons. In our monthly support group, we provide a space for comfort, understanding, and validation. The group members are always compassionate and supportive of one another. In this group, people talk about their feelings or challenging situations related to their grief. It is also ok to listen and just share a little bit. Topics that seems to come up often are: how to deal with regret or feelings of guilt, how to cope with intense feelings, how to handle tricky family situations, and how to use ritual and set intentions to heal. The group has always been respectful and attentive to people who are sharing. Please call me if you would like to learn more about our group. This group is for adults who are grieving a loved one who has died on hospice. This is an open group, which means you can come when it works for you. There is no fee for this group. The group meets on the first Thursday of the month, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and it is led by Christine Pugh, MCP, LCP, Bereavement coordinator at KeystoneCare. It is held at the KeystoneCare House, 8765 Stenton Avenue, Wyndmoor, PA 19038. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Christine by calling 215-528-4300.
